New adventures

Today I took a walk around the condo. There is a bicycle/walking path that goes all the way downtown to the Parliament Building. But it has several turn-offs, I did not go to far in case I got lost. You would understand because of my terrible sense of direction. I walked for about 40 min. I cannot believe we actually live here, it is like a permanent vacation.

Then this evening we are looking after the girls because Yvonne and Jason are at a band practice for ministry next Sunday morning in a church not too far from here. We ate in a Wendy's close to our Condo and we took the girls home and had a swim in our pool. It is a very large one and we had it all to ourselves. Now as I am typing this I find myself wanting to sleep after all those activities today including half an hour on my Cardio Glider, which is still on the balcony.(I plan to use the facilities in the building) I have to realize I am not as young as I used to be, hahaha!

Ted and I are just so happy to live here. We drive around like pros, mind you trying to park the car in the underground garage was a challenge, but I got that down as well! We actually got our Ontario Health card, which starts Nov 1st, the Manitoba Health covers us until then. Between the GPS and Google Maps and my "back seat driver", we can go just about anywhere!
