Being an "Oma", I try to have treats around for the grandchildren, which includes ice-cream. But I was not able to keep it from going bad, like ice crystal forming etc. Since we are just the two of us, and Ted being diabetic it just does not get eaten. But I did discover that when I cover the ice cream with plastic wrap, like really press it down, I am able to keep it fresh looking until the next time the grandchildren come over.

I saw something like our ice cream makers in the Independent store here in Russell. I wonder ice cream could be made with the almond milk that you've made. I guess it needs to be creamier.
