At the Beach

Grand Beach

Yesterday we spent the whole entire day at the beach, that is, Ron, Lynne, Jason, Yvonne, me and the five grandchildren. Since I did not take any pictures I will have to wait until the others have posted theirs.

But what a beautiful day it was. The weather was just perfect for us, thank you Lord!
I have not been at Grand beach for ages and I have to say it is very nice, especially for the children since it is shallow for a long ways. Because of a light breeze, there were some waves for the kids to play in. (Thankfully they were wearing life jackets. I have very bad memories of seeing Paul float head down in shallow water when he was four/five years old, that happened in a few seconds of not watching him.) Finally I just turned my chair facing the other way to be able to relax!

We had three umbrella's, not for me thank you very much! I like to sit in the sun! Lots of easy chairs for everybody and food to snack on. We picked up some hot food at the store what you would not like to do every day because they charge an arm and a leg (so to say hahaha!)

We came home all puckered out with a ton of laundry.
