Tomorrow Ted and I will be going to Ottawa to visit Yvonne, Jason and the girls. I started the packing a bit, but I am not very good at it. I like to do it just before we go. Packing for Ted is easy.
I understand the weather is quite nice out east that will be nice. Hopefully the tulips are still looking perky.
Of course you all heard about the "Fuel surcharge", which makes people rethink the way they travel. Now have you ever heard people complain when the "Big Mac" increases in price? Or paying 150.00 plus for running shoes?
Go to a restaurant on Friday evening and you might have to wait an hour to get a meal. No you don't get a meal, you pay big money for it. Hahaha! It sure does not stop anybody from eating out.
People never had it so good, the cars get nicer and even bigger. The stores are bigger because they can't keep enough in stock. Hey they even have wheelchairs and scooters for those who can't walk but they simply have to spent their money. Ever thought about that?
Yes I know I am rambling that is because I have nothing better to say.
I better get our boarding pass.

Yes, everything is more expensive and things we don't think about are about to get even more expensive and all is related to the increase in the cost of a barrel of oil. Which is, of course, what makes everything from medicine to groceries higher. I wish it would end but our gasoline is now about $4.00 a gallon and expected to reach $10.00 a gallon by Christmas. Not something I care to dwell on because it means disaster for a lot of people.
