Blessed is the man (woman) that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. (King James Version)
In case you don’t know, this is Psalm 1:1
Many years ago I was in a Bible study at the church, which we at that time attended. One of the elders talked an whole hour "yawn" about this verse. He went to explain what walketh, standeth and sitteth means.
While actually the answer lies in the second verse:
But his (her) delight is in the law of the LORD; and in His law doth he (she) meditate day and night.
How difficult is it for a believer in God, who has Jesus as an example and their Spirit to guide us, to live in this world, a life totally committed to God?
Just think about it, it is so simple!
