My weekend

Sunday lunch is so much fun at Oma's

Opa and the girls, (he still has his computer glasses on I noticed!)

Here we are wishing, wishing for what? Aila wished that oma would not go to Ottawa, wait a minute, I reminded her, You are going to Ottawa. She started with a new flower and said: "I wished, I wished, I am NOT going to Ottawa!" Now really she does not comprehend the whole moving thing!

Here is Lynne tending to Hudson who had hurt his arm, left is Aila then Evan.

This is adorable Alyssa, who loves it (just like the other babies) when Oma sings a Dutch song, "Klap eens in je handjes, blij, blij, blij."

Hudson is nursing his sore arm.

Cousins can really love each other, and this is the proof. Aren't these cute pictures?

Since Yvonne and Jason had to go to Ottawa for their house hunting this weekend, we had the g
irls for most of the time. We took lots of pictures, afterall how many weekends will we be having them!
For Sunday lunch Ron and Lynne and the grand kids came over. I had promised the girls we would go to the park with the boys as well, which is a real treat for them.

Love the pictures Trudy.
Enjoy the moments, make the memories and carry them in your heart. You are so blessed to have had so many years with them, and these were the foundation years. Your love and prayers will carry them forever.

When they were here, without thinking I mentioned to Yvonne how much I had always loved Sunday lunch at your house.. and her face completely clouded over. She said that will be one of the hardest things about moving away from Wpg.
It's a wonderful tradition that will leave long-lasting memories in your grandchildrens hearts. It sure left an imprint in my heart.

I can only imagine how difficult this move is going to be for both her and you; my heart breaks at the thought. I'm praying for your family, but especially you & Yvonne. And I promise we will take good care of her while you lend her to us.
