Our 47th Anniversary

May the 20th is our wedding anniversary. Ted and I had planned to go for dinner together but than decided to treat our children and the grand children for lunch at the Olive Garden. That is if they would take reservations, which they did because I told them it was a double celebration. Anneka has her 7th birthday coming up the 24th. So the restaurant staff sang this Italian Birthday song and the look on her face was priceless:-(. While Aila said: "That is beautiful!!"

Anneka received some "children's" make-up from Auntie Lynne. It seems she is growing up fast. Yvonne and I took her to the store to pick out some clothes for her birthday and she insisted she'd try them on. Yvonne told me that Anneka stood in front of the mirror deciding which item looked best on her! This has not happened before, yes our oldest granddaughter is growing up!

Anneka was sleeping over at our house. When she woke up in the morning she told me she had a dream about the restaurant. Everybody we knew had come and there was no more room for us to sit and we did not know what to do. How cute that is, even the little ones enjoy eating out so that she even dreamed about it. I assured her that there was a table reserved for us at the restaurant with our name on it. Pfffffff what a relieve.

Alyssa is enjoying herself with whatever a baby is concerned about, her fingers! Doesn't she look like a girl already?

When I came back from my little vacation I brought back some presents for the grandchildren. Here you see Aila with a hand puppet. One she would not put down.

For the boys I brought, well... boys toys and as you can see, Evan thinks his is pretty cool. This slingshot is able to shoot balls soaked in water, what fun!
