Friday I bought $60.00 worth of grass seeds and in the rain I spread it around on the lawn. The lawn was in such bad shape after the winter. I even planted a new scrub by the front door since one of the two identical ones had given up. It kind of looked lopsided there.
As I came in the house the perfect rain for a seeded lawn stopped and it has not rained since. So I am sorry all you people out there I need some rain. Looking at the forecast my prayer has already been answered. I am going out there to mow the lawn because it is now so high after the warm two days. I am not sure if that is a good idea for the seeds. But as I see it, the seeds need sun and with the tall grass they are not getting it.
Okay this is another dilemma in the life of Truus (Trudy).

Unlucky for me...as I'll have to run in the rain. Yuck
