"It seems", my niece JoAnn said to me the other day: "That when I complain and mention negative things on my blog, people leave more comments!" "Yep, I have experienced that as well", I replied. I guess it is the kindness people want to show we decided.
Or is it because a person who is always happy seems to have it all together?
Or," are we giving our tears to those who love us and smiles to those who love us less?"
No matter what, positive and happy people are more fun to be around with don't you think?
The following I read this morning, What a great way to enter in the first day of my 67th year!!
Laughter: "A merry heart makes a cheerful countenance, but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken" (Prov. 15:13). True happiness begins deep inside and emerges on our faces.
The Lord: "The fear of the Lord is the instruction of wisdom, and before honor is humility" (Prov. 15:33). When God is central in our hearts, He can teach us His way through every experience of life.
The Little Things: "Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a fatted calf with hatred" (Prov.15:17). Maintaining loving relationships and enjoying the basic things of life are more important than wealth and success.
Not all of us will live a long time, but we can all live well each day—with laughter, the Lord, and the little things in life.

I bet no one will comment on this blog. hehehe.
Perhaps people like to feel needed. A broken down person in crisis is like a lost puppy that people like to help, advise, and rescue. Happy people don't "appear" to need anything, so people don't feel as needed.
Also...when there is a happy post, there are only so many times people can say "Good for you!" or "wow!" or "Nice Blog"
I used to blog about my running, but a friend told me...."I can only say "Way to go!" so many times." but if I blogged about how discouraged I was about running, she could say "You can do it! I know you can..." etc.
I like happy blog entries that invite discussion or reaction too. Those are fun....but you don't want and argument to ensue either. Blog fights are nasty!
Oh well.
I like your post anyway, Mom!
I do..( comment I mean) as well well with postif-& negatif's, because love goes over that all... but on my (B) noy many people's react... cause it's overall not usual to comment for Dutchies...
