Fish anyone?

My boss has a super large pond in her backyard, almost the envy of anyone who sees it in the summer. Besides that she has lots of flowers and a yard that looks very well taken care off. Because we are in the well drilling business, it has a fountain a large pump system etc.

Of course in the winter the fish come inside. So therefore her husband made a large basin in the basement with pump and all where the fish have the time of their lives.
Since my bosses take off to the South for two months, Debbie and I have to feed them. Yes that is part of my job!!! So Wednesday morning I threw them some food and noticed one floating side ways. Oh gross I thought I have to get this 12" thing out of there. Luckily there was a net so I tried to put that dead fish in a plastic bag. Once in, it slithered out again. By now I was close to throwing up. I tried again to get it in the bag. Then I took it to the porch and placed it on a chair there. I did not know what to do. I don't know, I thought they might want to find out why it died.

I went back to work and forgot about the fish. This morning Debbie was at the office and she had a courier guy come in for a delivery. He asked Debbie (dead serious): "Did you go ice fishing?" Debbie replied: "Noooowww I did not go ice fishing!" He kind of looked at that (by now) frozen fish and she thought for sure he was going to ask her can I have it? If he had she would have given it to him too and...she would have said enjoy!!!

When she told me that I could just see the guy in my mind, and we had such a good laugh. Are we bad or what!!!!!!!
A question: Why is it that dead animals freak us out?

UHHH couldn't even hold it... as a kid I try to catch fish , once I got one I was too afraid to get it from the hook, so I decided that, 'fishing is not my thing' & stopped fishing....

Abou this fish of your boss: You don't know the course of dead? Healthy dead fish should by shiny, otherwise it's sick.. Watch out!
