Yep, that is what I say to as many people as possible.
After I heard on the news that the Philadelphia Airport was forced to remove all the Christmas trees. Simply because some minority group/faith was objecting.
I have come to the point that when I hear a Christmas Carol in a store I rejoice. The same when I see homes adorned with Christmas decorations including trees with nice bright flashing lights.
I realize that Christmas trees originally had nothing to do with the birth of Christ, now it has become a sign of people actually celebrating Christmas.
Therefore, since I want Christmas to be celebrated instead of "This Holiday Season", I keep on saying: "Have a Merry Christmas". Now you are going to say why not a "Blessed". I guess, I am not that bold, hahaha!
So what do you think?

I totally agree with you...Merry Christmas..the time we celebrate the birth of Christ Jesus. No more Happy Holidays..
Christmas it is and Christmas it always will be.
Here in Europe there is all this political correctness going on as well, but it is creating a backlash..a good one, in that people are dissing the correctness and being real about the 'real thing!'
I will be spending Christmas in the Netherlands, and there, as you know, the occaison (Christmas one and Christmas two) are much more of a religious celebration whilst Sinter Klaus coming is more the commercial time....
A blessed Christmas, a healthy NewYear is my wish for you & my love. Your Tree is beautiful!
I think you could probably tear apart just about any holiday. People can be so callus. I say, "Merry Christmas and if they don't like it, then they can get over it." They may not be celebrating Christ, but we are. Like Sammie says when she is asked if she is excited about Santa Claus coming, "WE CELEBRATE JESUS, not Santa Claus." I have a very bold daughter.
