This morning when we woke up it was raining, how the lawn and flowers needed that!
Since I could not be outside, I took the opportunity to do some cleaning. I vacuumed the basement and then.....the "cleaning and throwing away" mood came over me. I called the Canadian Diabetic Society and they will pick up what ever stuff I don't need anymore. I do not really believe in garage sales that is why. I prefer to give things away. Hey you can buy it in Value Village, hahaha!
Then the stuff that you keep around for"just in case". I recently learned something from my son-in-law Jason. When you have not use "that thing" give it away or throw it out. Since we have so much we have not used for quite a while, out it went. If you hurry before the garbage truck comes....Never mind it is all junk.
Around noon the sun came out and with my "cleaning and throwing away" mood, I ventured outside and cleaned out the shed.
My son Ron told me I ought to be cutting down some branches of the trees. Now THAT I find hard to do, because I love my trees, I like to leave them in their natural shape. But I went ahead anyways and started pruning away. Except for some branches I like to keep for (cuttings) for new trees, those are also ready to be picked up on garbage day.
So today I did a lot of work until Ted told me at 6:30 to come in and call it the day.
Well I thought you might wanted to know!

Trees love to be cutted! So you did the right thing, this way they grow better and you showed them your love.
