Cancer Update

This afternoon we were at the cancer clinic for Ted's (Theo's) checkup. His blood work was done a few weeks ago. We found out that the CEA tumor maker was up. In the fall it was 2.9 and the last test test done showed it was up to 7.5.
Dr Harris, our oncologist was not happy with that and ordered another test this afternoon. She told us we could wait for the result and that result was down to 5.5. That means she said I will order a CT Scan as soon as possible.

She told us the scan will detect anything abnormal, so we will have to wait. We are both cancer patients and every time she, Dr. Harris tells us,(when she sticks her head around the corner) everything is fine, we thank God and say isn't that something? We rejoice and we go our merry way.

But God is still there and we continue to praise Him. We will deal with what ever comes. We are not afraid to die but it is nature to want to live as long as possible. Try to swat a mosquito in the summer how difficult is that! Or step on an ant hill they rush all over the place! Hahaha. We humans are not any different. But.......we say with David in Psalm 31:14,15
But as for me, I trust in Thee O Lord
I say, "Thou art my God."
My times are in Thy hand,

You know what is also wonderful, that we have friends who tell us we will pray for Ted (Theo). Now that is so much appreciated, thank you for that.

We will keep you updated after all that is what this blog is all about.

Love Ted and Trudy
