An other day!

Another day has come and gone spent in the Hospital for Ted. He had an hernia operation, a problem with the wound from his first operation in 2001. But this is the second hernia operation in the same spot.

We had to be there at 7:30 this morning. Waiting here and there, but finally Ted was ready to be taken to the day surgery ward. A nurse came and was looking for a 72 year old man so she said. Since we were the only people sitting there, I asked her what the old man's name was. She could not pronounce it. I asked: " Is it by chance, Regnerus?""Yes", she said. "Well, he is the one you are looking for",I told her. "You are not 72, no way!" So Ted looked inside his hospital gown and said' "Yep, this is me!" This was so hilarious, she went to the other nurses and asked them, "you think he looks 72?" They could not get over it. Later on when I left the ward for a minute the same nurse asked, "how old is she?" Of course Ted told her, "65 and isn't she beautiful?"

Anyways, Ted is home with a sore tummy and he has to take it easy. What a bummer, now I have to do everything! He always makes coffee and tea, and most of the supper. I figured this is the time to get a lasagna out I had made a few weeks ago. So, that is heating up at the moment.
I'd better get busy!
