2 Corinthians 11:3
But I am afraid that, as the serpent deceived Eve by his craftiness,
your minds will be led astray from the simplicity and purity of devotion to Christ.
We are so easily persuaded from living a pure life. Even in the daily activities we fall short.
I have for a long time decided, NOT to buy anything that has "The devil"in it. I don't even want to give him glory talking about him! Haha.
I will not buy "Devils Food Cake, or "Devils delight cookies", or "Simply Devilish delight deserts".
Can you think of anything with that enemies name in it?
You are saying now, what's with Trudy, has she fallen of her rocker?. Yes I have!
He gave Ted and me cancer. That is not a GOD thing. But......thank God He will use our experiences to be a blessing, and a testimony. I will NOT be deveated. I love HIM more than ever before, ( hey that rhymes!)
It is not only health he takes away. It can be a promotion that you were expecting, (like my son Ron). It can be devastating when you have set your hopes on better things. But...... again God is not done leading him. Something will come up which is better. Whith your faith in God, you simply cannot lose.
So, if you do not know whether you are coming or going. Have faith in God!
Let me know what you think!
Have a great day!
Trudy

You are right of course - but sometimes it is all too easy to loose sight of this truth.
Faith - the size of a mustard seed - that's all we need - isn't it marvellous to see youwith your faith as big as a mountain!!!
Hey mom, Paul showed me one....the deville, Catillac. You know what that actually is......"devil le"
I guess whoever thought of the name decided that no one would drive a devil le so they combined it and no one's the wiser!
Except Paul of course....isn't he smart! Those DeCock, Brussee genes.
Well I woke up this morning and had some deviled eggs and deviled ham, with a side of leftover sea-devil. I then hopped in my Cadillac DEVILle and drove to my job at Snackwell, which produces the devil’s food snack bar, near Devil’s Tower Wyoming.
I got to my office and sat down at my Lectrys SME LINUX Dust Devil Server and turned off my Tasmanian Devil screen saver and visited your blog page.
Well I was bedeviled at your post. I immediately cancelled my trip to French Guiana (Devil’s Island) and the fishing trip to Devil’s lake.
I sold my cottage in North Carolina in Kill devil Hills, and vowed to never watch my favorite hockey team the New Jersey Devils. I am now a Carolina fan (No more blue devils)
We paved our driveway to avoid dust devils and told my kids no more dare devil bike stunts. We traded in our dirt devil for a Kenmore and sold my wife’s Fendi Black Leather Diavolo-Devil- Handbag.
I am a new man with a devil-may-care attitude but all the while having a devil of a time keeping straight.
Jennifer... deVille is French. It means "of the town". de ville.
We have a tourist attraction in Wales which is known as Devil's Bridge (its a waterfall)!!!
If that is your son Paul I would disown him!!!
Very cute though I must say!! Maybe you didn't beat the devil out of him when he was little ;)
Yep, Cath, he is something else!
I think he does that for me to come South to visit him, to beat out of him what is left. I must have failed somewhere along the way.Haha!
When I rebuked him by being to hard on his little girl, he said: "Mom this is my kid, you had your chance and you messed up big time!!"
Oh well, better next time!
Love you Paul anyways.
MOM:)

Just kiddin', I still don't believe that's what they named it after; I think they wanted to name it after the devil. ha ha
