Today I walked over to Shoppers Drug Mart. (About 5 min away). To get acquainted with the Pharmacist. Ted has to take quite a lot of medication (and I am sure they'll miss us in the Winnipeg store). One thing, I get a lot of points for which I get free products. So once a year I stock up on makeup etc. That is my "Spoil me time"!
I also made some calls to get a doctor for us, but especially for Ted. He needs to have those blood tests every month. It seems the only way to get that done is to go to a walk in clinic. Our landlord suggested a clinic he goes to and it seems that might definitely be the best one after having called several other places. I am sure in time we'll find a family doctor, I am certainly not going to lie awake over it. I am able to call our doctor in Winnipeg for certain things, after all, she has all our files.
Oh and by the way, I have not missed the mosquitoes yet, you know those little creatures who spoil it for you when you are out doors in Winnipeg! I have not seen one of them, nor a fly or a bee for that matter when I am on the balcony. Now that is just about heaven! Mind you the first week I had to zap a few spiders and the rest of that family I must have scared away as well!

sound great how nearby the store's are in Ottawa,except 4 the med-part, maybe you can order this med's by email/internet in W-peg? musquitoes aren't my favo's either, glad to read that you are happy in O. here all ok, could be better, you know why:).
