We had a wonderful exciting day, calls from friends and at 10:30 Kees and Miep our Dutch friends came for coffee, with them a gorgeous bouquet of flowers (pictured below). By five we were ready at the door all dressed up, for Ron and Lynne to pick us up to take us where ever! Ted and I could have speculated but we'd be wrong, that's for sure.
The restaurant "The Gates" was unknown to us and therefore a real surprise. The service was wonderful and the food, well incredible as the pictures below will testify. The flowers below we received from Maple Leaf Ent, (where I used to work). Thank you guys! The roses from Ron and Lynne. Thank you so very much Ron and Lynne for taking us so spontaneously and Yvonne, Jason, Paul and Jennifer for contributing, wished you could've been here of course!
While there (at Ron's request) both Yvonne and Paul called us
so that it seems they were part of it
This was my dinner (Striploin) and below a complimentary dessert

what's more important....it tasted equally as good!

Beautiful pictures. It would've been nice to be there with you...but Paul will be there soon to spend time with you. That will be good.
