Gas Pumping 101

A few days ago Ted noticed the car needed a fill-up, something he takes care of all the time. As a matter of fact I have never taken an interest in that!

Since I was driving at the time,I suggested he'd let me do it under his watchful eye!!!

I drove around the pumps to get the car lined up just right a bit too close though!
We both got out of the car, while Ted swiped his credit card, I took the trigger to put it the..... , shocks how do I open this thing. There is a small button sweetheart on the floor in front of your seat. Oh yes, I forgot, okay done. Now I am in business lets get the show on the road! Okay, now I am getting annoyed nothing is happening, Ted looked at the pump, made sure his card had been accepted, yes seems fine, he gave the pump an other nudge, still nothing. I saw him getting frustrated with that card swiping system. I looked at him, "See that is why I hate pumping gas!" I said, "so what do we do now?"

He finally looked at my hand which had not squeezed the trigger tight enough, and then lo and
behold it worked. I started laughing and laughing because of the look on his face, which told me enough. Oh boy I said, this is like one of those dumb blond jokes, except that I am not dumb.

I said: "Too bad it should have been filmed would make a great video on "You Tube", hahaha! Right next to the one me changing the channel with the telephone and my attempt taking a picture with the cap still on the lens. While my daughter in law Jennifer looked on giggling and wondering when I would realize the cap was still on.

Oh and this is a good one!

Ted and I were in a busy store the other day. He went one way and I was looking in a more interesting isle, when through all the noise and the background music I heard this song and a familiar voice, Yvonne's. I got so excited and wanted to say to other shoppers, hey, that is my girl singing, but changed my mind, they might think I am a bit, well, not all there. No, I'd better call Ted and find out if he heard her. As I got my cell phone out, I realized for some reason the music player had turned it self on. Hahaha!

Ted advised me not to advertise these "unusual" things I do, people might get the wrong impression. Well, I told him as long as I think I am definitely not dumb, it only makes life more fun for those around me.
